Gale Harold

The Secret Circle’s Gale Harold Talks Crystals, Madness, and Tornadoes of Pain

Source : TV.com

If you think it’s hard to be a teenager in Chance Harbor, just look at the grown-ups! They basically have nothing to do but bicker over quartz and become alcoholics. Not so coincidentally, the same lack of activity seems to be true of the older actors on the show. For most of this season, The Secret Circle‘s star-studded roster of parents has been trapped in a loop of aimless scheming and plagued by a complete lack of awareness of what their kids have been up to (not to mention the fact that they were all in mortal danger). But that’s all changed with the arrival of John Blackwell, whose appearance has amped up the parents’ role considerably, particularly Gale Harold’s Charles Meade. The man who began the series as a Darth Vader-esque walking nightmare was quickly transformed into a doormat, but Blackwell has awakened the spirit of vengeance in him and the season now appears to be headed for an exciting showdown. In other words, the grown-ups of Chance Harbor are finally starting to get their due.

Last week, Gale Harold was kind enough to let me badger him with dumb questions and he told me all about what he thinks of Charles’ brain, his least favorite acting mistake, and also…you guessed it: crystals. Read more »

‘The Secret Circle’: Gale Harold Teases ‘Shocking’ Blackwell Reveal, Finale Predicaments

“It leaves everyone sort of looking down the barrel of the gun,” Harold told THR of the impact the second Blackwell child will have on Chance Harbor.

The Secret Circle returns for the final run of its first season and things aren’t looking up for Chance Harbor.

With the identity of the other Blackwell child up in the air on the CW drama, things are getting nutty for the young witches. But as actor Gale Harold tells The Hollywood Reporter, the adults have some issues of their own to contend with. In Charles’ case, it’s plotting against John Blackwell (Joe Lando). Read more »

Rise 'n Shine

Queer As Folk Book Project!

The good folks with Rise ‘n Shine are putting together 9 books for the Cologne convention – one for each actor – so they can have a special memory of the event. What they’re asking is that you send your personal messages, drawings, photos of you and your QAF buddies, photos of you helping promote Rise n Shine, pride events, songs, poems or anything else you fancy sending!

You can send special messages even if you are not attending the convention! These books will then be compiled by Talia and Sarah, and then given to the actors at the convention.

Please send your messages, photos, and anything else you want included to: beyond.kinnetik@gmail.com

Include which actor your message/photo is for in the subject line of the email. If you have something you wish to be placed in all 9 book, that is fine also, just mention that in your email!

Gale Harold Talks Crime and Punishment with Chevron One

It’s 11 am in LA and I’m chatting with Gale Harold about The Secret Circle’s Charles Meade and where the show will take his character over the remaining  episodes of the current season. Initially billed as the witchy teen drama’s ‘Big Bad’ Charles has instead evolved into one of the show’s more complex and human individuals, albeit one with a couple of major misdemeanors to his name. Fans of the show will know that Charles is responsible for the deaths of both Amelia Blake and Nick Armstrong over the course of the season. In the land of TV, bad deeds rarely go unpunished for long, and I begin by asking Gale if he sees some retribution for Charles coming down the line any time soon. Read more »
